Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the shrine.trade website, the Shrine trading terminal, Shrinemaps, the Shrine APIs and any related services (together, the "Services"), operated by Shrine ("Shrine", "we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. The Services

Shrine provides software tools to view market data for digital assets on the Solana blockchain and to create transactions that you review and sign with your own wallet. Shrine is not a broker, exchange, custodian, investment adviser or financial institution. We do not hold your assets, execute trades on your behalf at our discretion, or act as a counterparty to your trades.

3. Eligibility

To use the Services you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Services if you are subject to economic or trade sanctions, are located in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if your use of the Services would be prohibited by the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with those laws.

4. Accounts and wallets

You sign in through Privy, a third-party wallet and authentication provider. Your wallet is a self-custodial wallet secured by Privy. Shrine's servers do not hold the private keys to your wallet and cannot transfer your assets.

To enable one-click trading, the Services store a trading key in your browser that Privy accepts only for trading transactions. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to trade with it. You are solely responsible for the security of your devices, your sign-in methods and your recovery options, and for all activity under your account. We cannot recover lost access, reverse transactions or restore lost assets.

5. Fees

Shrine charges a fee of 0.5% of the SOL amount of each trade made through the Services. The fee is included in the transaction you sign. If a transaction fails, Shrine's fee is not charged.

Solana network fees, priority fees, any tip you choose to add, and the fees of the trading venue (for example pump.fun) are separate from Shrine's fee. Network and priority fees may be charged even when a transaction fails. Paper trading is free. Any change to Shrine's fee will be announced in advance and will apply only to trades made after the change.

6. Risk disclosure

Trading digital assets, and memecoins in particular, is highly speculative and involves a substantial risk of loss. You should not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. In particular:

7. No investment advice

Nothing provided through the Services constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax or other advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Market data, charts, labels (such as dev, sniper, bundler or KOL), risk indicators and other information are generated automatically, largely from public blockchain data and third-party sources, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or delayed. You should not rely on them as the sole basis for any decision.

8. Paper trading

Paper trading simulates trades using real market data. It involves no real assets. Simulated results do not reflect real execution, fees or slippage and are not indicative of future results.

9. Referral program

Users who refer others to Shrine may earn a share of the fees paid by the users they refer, as described in the Services. Rewards are reviewed before payment. We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through abuse, including self-referral, multiple accounts or artificial trading, and we may modify or end the referral program at any time.

The Services rely on and display information from third parties, including Privy, the Solana network, trading venues such as pump.fun, DexScreener, kolscan, X and the creators of tokens. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content, including token names, images, descriptions and livestreams. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms. Shrine is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these third parties.

12. Intellectual property

The Services, including their software, design and the Shrine name and logo, are owned by Shrine or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your personal use. Third-party content remains the property of its owners.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA PROVIDED THROUGH THEM IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHRINE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING TRADING LOSSES, INACCURATE OR DELAYED DATA, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, BUGS, OR THE ACTS OF THIRD PARTIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID TO SHRINE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shrine from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not affect your ownership of the assets in your wallet. We recommend exporting your wallet's private key, which you can do from your account settings, so that you can access your assets independently of the Services.

17. Changes

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the date above, and we will give notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Shrine's operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Shrine regarding the Services. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or transfer of the Services.
